Natalia Ejsmont is a 26-year-old model from the Netherlands. Her career in modelling started when she was just 9 years old and now she’s one of the most in-demand models in the industry.
Natalia has made it her mission to use her platform to make a difference, which is why she’s started the Natalia Ejsmont Foundation – an organisation that helps young people focus on their careers and give back to their communities.
In this interview, we discuss Natalia’s journey as a model, her work with the Natalia Ejsmont Foundation, and her advice for aspiring models.
Natalia Ejsmont is an internationally acclaimed operatic soprano. Born in Santiago, Chile, she made her professional opera debut in 2005 at the age of 19, singing the title role in Donizetti’s Lucrezia Borgia. In 2006, she won first prize at the Operalia International Voice Competition and was subsequently awarded a scholarship to study with Renata Scotto at La Scala in Milan.
Since then, Ejsmont has appeared as Donna Anna in Don Giovanni (both La Scala and Opera Australia), Tatiana in Eugene Onegin (Opéra de Lyon), Aida (Vienna State Opera), Elisabeth in Tannhäuser (Wagner Festival Salzburg), Herodias in Salome (Berlin State Opera), and Zerlina (Naples Arena). She has also sung Norma opposite Plácido Domingo at Barcelona’s Palau de la Música Catalana and Ferrara’s Teatro Petruzzelli.
In 2017, Ejsmont made her US debut as Sieglinde at San Francisco Opera, where she was praised for her “dramatic intensity” and “powerful vocalism.” Her most recent roles have seen her return to Europe: Elisabeth I in The Marriage of Figaro (Bavarian State Opera) and Ariadne in Ariadne auf Naxos (Thuringian State Theatre).
Natalia’s Early Life
Natalia Ejsmont was born in Kiev, Ukraine on January 3, 1988. She was the only child of her father and mother. Her parents divorced when Natalia was just three years old and she and her mother moved to Barcelona, Spain. It was not easy for Natalia to adjust to a new culture, but with hard work and determination she eventually found her footing.
Natalia began modeling at the age of 14 and quickly rose through the ranks. She has appeared in campaigns for major fashion brands such as Prada, Dior, Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, and Gucci. In 2011, Natalia became the first Spanish model to be signed by IMG Models.
In 2013, Natalia met actor Jared Leto while they were both attending a party in Los Angeles. The two hit it off and began dating shortly after. They married on November 12th of that year in a private ceremony at their home in Los Angeles County.
Since marrying Jared Leto, Natalia has been busy promoting her latest film project: the independent drama “The Outsiders” which is set for release later this year. In addition to working on her film project, Natalia has also been focused on raising awareness for her charity organization called My Heart Is Unbreakable which aims to help underprivileged children throughout Europe.
How Natalia Ejsmont started doing makeup
Natalia Ejsmont, a makeup artist and founder of the beauty brand Sheamojo, has always loved making people look their best. “I was always drawn to beauty and makeup as a kid,” she tells Bustle. “I would watch my mom put on makeup or see models on TV and be in awe.” After starting her own company in 2014, Natalia started getting more recognition for her work. People started asking her to do weddings, corporate events, and even magazine covers. And she loves every minute of it! “It’s so amazing to see people’s reactions when I do their makeup,” she says. “Some people are really shy and don’t want anyone to see them without their makeup on, but others are so happy to finally feel like they look good in public.”
Despite being such an accomplished artist, Natalia doesn’t believe that there’s one definitive way to do makeup. “There is no right or wrong way to do makeup,” she says. “Everyone has different preferences and what looks good on one person might not look good on another.” That’s why she loves working with clients who let her know what they’re looking for; it makes it much easier for her to create a look that suits them perfectly. Plus, nothing feels better than knowing that someone looked great thanks to your work!
Beauty and the Beast: The Musicals
Beauty and the Beast is one of the most popular Disney movies ever made. It tells the story of a beautiful woman, Belle, who is taken prisoner by a cruel beast, Gaston, in his castle. Belle is saved by an enchanting prince, who transforms her into a beautiful woman again. They live happily ever after.
When the movie was first released in 1991, it was not well-received by critics. However, over time it has become one of Disney’s most beloved movies. The musical version of Beauty and the Beast was originally released in 1997 and has been seen by millions of people across the world.
The musical version of Beauty and the Beast is surprisingly different than the original movie. In fact, it almost feels like two different stories altogether. The first half of the musical is basically just an adaptation of the original story, while the second half focuses on Belle’s transformation into a beautiful woman again and her relationship with Prince Charming.
Some people might find this part of the story boring because there isn’t as much action as there is in the original movie. However, I think it adds to the overall appeal of the musical because it makes Belle’s journey feel more relatable. Plus, I can’t help but be swept away by all of those powerful songs!
If you’re a fan of Disney movies or even just classic fairy tales in general, I would definitely recommend checking out Beauty and the Beast: The Musicals!
